Allan has spent his professional carreer in various international locations in often challenging and complex locations.

 

Allan was employed with A.P. Moller-Maersk for 35 years.

After finalizing his apprenticeship and military service in the Navy (Greenland) he was expatriated to New York.

 

Allan has a broad international experience in shipping, logistics, trucking, rail and port management and developments as well as transformation projects.

 

Since 1985 he has been heading up organizations various places worldwide or has been involved with corporate management on global and/or regional level, apart from a short spell of time in 2003, where he was seconded to the US lead coalition forces in Iraq, working as Chief of Staff for CPA in southern Iraq based in Basra.

During his career he has been instrumental in opening a number of offices, organizations and green field projects; including Pakistan, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Malawi, Zambia, Russia, Iraq and latest in Kuwait and Ras al Khaimah (UAE).

 

Latest spearheading the integration of two transportation companies as shareholder’s representative. The integration entailed merging of about 8,000 employees in 27 different locations country wide, including 23 vessels, a sizable fleet of container and terminals as well as other related business; including supply chain management and other businesses
